23 Feb 21 – Athena Swan Charter and gender equality in research

Fondazione Regionale per la Ricerca Biomedica (FRRB), Partner of the European project TARGET – Taking a Reflexive approach to Gender Equality for institutional Transformation, organizes a new seminar on the topic of gender equality in research.

The seminar “Athena Swan Charter and gender equality in research” will be held on Tuesday 23 February at 10:00 (CET), via Zoom.

In the first part of the meeting, thanks to a panel of international experts, FRRB will present and discuss the Athena Swan Charter, a framework which is used in many countries to support and transform gender equality within higher education and research. It will be discussed the importance of the Athena Swan Charter from the point of view of a funding agency and a university.

In the second part of the meeting,  the meeting will focus on a research project that takes into account aspects of sex and gender
